Both the GHC men’s and women’s basketball teams have important home conference games against South Georgia Tech this Saturday, Jan. 11.

The women’s game is especially important in the Lady Chargers quest for a conference title. South Georgia Tech is currently sits 1st in the GCAA with the GHC right behind them in 2nd. South Georgia Tech is also ranked #17 nationally by the NJCAA.

South Georgia Tech seems to perpetually be the team to beat for the Lady Chargers. So far this season, the Lady Chargers’ only conference loss has been to South Georgia Tech.

The Charger men are currently on an 8-game winning streak and looking to stay undefeated in GCAA play. South Georgia Tech currently sits 6th in the conference.

The women are scheduled to play at 2 p.m. at the Corral on the Floyd campus with the men’s game following at 4 p.m.
