As of June 1, 2019, Regina Gupta will assume the role of Director of Dental Hygiene at Georgia Highlands College. Regina is an Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene and has been on the GHC Faculty since 2015. She received a BA from Berry College in Political Science/History/German in 1988, an AS in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Highlands College in 2009, a MS of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University in 2015, and is currently enrolled in the Ed.D program in Curriculum and Instruction at Valdosta State University.
Regina has practiced clinically as a Registered Dental Hygienist in private practices in Marietta for 6 years prior to coming to Georgia Highlands. As a faculty member, she has taught both clinical and didactic courses and was the clinic coordinator for 2nd year students. It is apparent to all she has a passion for helping people manage their oral health that is rivaled by few. Regina’s dedication and commitment to her colleagues and students is appreciated by all. She will bring a wealth of knowledge and innovation to the position of Director of Dental Hygiene. Join us in welcoming and congratulating her as she transitions into her new role!
