I would like to share some excellent news with you all. We will have Federal Work Study funding for the 19-20 aid year. These positions will pay $10 per hour and the same rules and parameters will be in place as usual (pell eligible, 19 hours per week, enrolled at GHC, etc.).

I would like to get some information from all of you to see how many positions can be created so I am better able to manage the budget. If you would like to have FWS student(s), please get back with me with a general description of the responsibilities of the position and how many students you are requesting. I cannot guarantee everyone will get the number of workers they are requesting but I will do my very best to accommodate each department. If we are able to create your position(s), we will require you to provide the complete job description and adhere to the FWS policies and procedures. I will provide this information to you when we have a FWS managers meeting.
