What’s new, you ask?

A lot! For starters, the processional will enter the Forum Arena in two lines to increase our time efficiency.

What else, you ask? Well, two processional lines require two marshals. GHC’s most senior faculty, Frank Minor and Billy Morris (next in line to our very most senior faculty, Kristie Kemper, who is serving as Mace Bearer), will serve as honorary faculty marshals. Registrar Ed Rosser and Assistant Registrar Sherri Beideck will serve as graduate marshals.

Is that all, you ask? No, there’s more! The Forum Arena floor seating has been modified to accommodate GHC’s largest class of graduates to date. This modification has an increased graduate section in the floor center flanked by faculty and special guest sections on either side (see attachment).

Anything else, you ask? Indeed! GHC will distinguish our graduates receiving a Bachelor’s degree by introducing newly designed stoles with the Class of 2019. Be sure to watch for these students to lead the graduate processional.
