The Lady Chargers and Chargers get tough GCAA road wins over Central Georgia Tech. The Lady Chargers led by as many as 16 points to pull away for the 75-67 win over the Lady Titans. LaDy Chargers were led by Jahnarria Brown with 19 points, Nijeria Jordan had 18 points, Jessica Eadsforth-Yates had 12, and Ciara Thompson had 11 points, and 9 rebounds.
The Chargers battled down to wire and came away with the 81-80 win over the Titans of Central Georgia Tech. In a game that saw 11 lead changes and 6 ties the Chargers Derrick Cook was once again the difference maker scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds, Carl Johnson had 18 points, Chris Wright had 14 points, and Khalyl Waters added 12 points.
The Chargers are at home on Wednesday for a double header versus Andrew College. Lady Chargers tip off at 5:30pm followed by the Chargers at 7:30pm. The first 50 students to come to the game and present their student ID will get a free Charger t-shirt.
