Please join Academic Affairs in welcoming Dr. Sarah Tesar to her new role as interim Dean of Science and Physical Education!

Tesar has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tulane University and served as Associate Professor of Chemistry at Georgia Highlands before assuming the interim Dean role. She completed the GHC Presidential Leadership Program in 2017, and she participated in the Cobb Education Consortium Leadership Academy that same year.

Her vision for the division and her enthusiasm for student learning and faculty support will make her an excellent interim Dean. Congratulations, Dr. Tesar!
