Author J. K. Rowling once said, “Writing for me is a kind of compulsion, so I don’t think anyone could have made me do it, or prevented me from doing it.”
Whether you have been working on a novel for years or you just recently picked up pen, join us for the first-ever Highlands Writers Conference! This one-day event on Saturday, March 3, on the Cartersville campus will be a great opportunity to network with other writers, readers, publishers, and editors. Writing sessions led by professionals like poet Kamilah Aisha Moon, screenwriter Eric L. Haney, and others will offer insight into the writing life. An afternoon panel of publishers and editors will give direction on how to find a home for your work. Our featured speaker, Jimmy Cajoleas, will discuss the success of his novel Goldeline, and the growing popularity of the Young Adult genre.
Full day and half day registration options are available! For more information, please visit our Facebook page (and like and share it!) https://www.facebook.com/HighlandsWriters/. Register for this conference via the Book It! link on our Facebook page.
