The University System policy allows for the election of CTO (compensatory time off) in lieu of paid overtime. This form allows for full time non-exempt (hourly/bi-weekly) employees to elect either CTO or paid overtime. Compensatory time and paid overtime are calculated the same – time and a half for hours worked over 40.
Approved compensatory time is subject to a maximum accumulation of sixty (60) hours and must be expended by the end of the succeeding calendar quarter.
During open enrollment is the only time you can change your OT election. To change your current OT election, send completed form, including manager’s approval, to Human Resources by November 10, 2017.
