On Saturday, November 4th, NAMI [the National Alliance on Mental Illness] is hosting a 5k walk/run in order to raise funds for and awareness of mental illnesses so that we can support the members of our community that face mental health challenges. I would like to start a Cartersville team to walk at this event in Rome at Heritage Park. Check in is at 9:00 am and the walk/run begins at 11:00 am. Participating in this even is a great way to keep USG healthy through an aspect of wellness, and for a good cause too!
