The division of Natural Science and Physical Education is offering a new course: BIOL 1020 Plants, Society and the Environment. This course is an examination on plant structure and function, the various ways that plants have been integrated in human life and how the domestication of plants has had an impact on the environment. This course does not have a lab component but can be used in area D in combination with another course that contains a lab such as BIOL 1010.
