The GHC Tree is a project intended to support employees and their families who may need additional assistance during the holiday season. Employees requesting assistance complete the GHC Tree Form and return it to Human Resources, in an envelope marked Siler – Confidential, by close of business Monday, November 21st, or a scanned form via email to Ginni Siler, also by Monday.
Requests can be made for children who are legal dependents, age 18, or under. We ask that requests be kept to a $100 value limit per child. We will make our best efforts to provide what is requested, of the child’s top three to five gifts, within this spending limit.
Funds designated from the chili cook-offs will be used however they will most likely not be sufficient. Employees are asked to select a gift item to purchase (or donate a small amount of cash, if the preference is for HR to do the shopping) to benefit our requesting families.
The requested gifts will be posted in GHC Inform on Tuesday, November 22nd, in time for Black Friday shopping. Cards will be placed on the GHC Tree, in Rome HR. Individuals can select a particular gift to purchase from the tree, or an email can be sent to Ginni and your name will be noted on the card for the gift you indicate. Plan to drop the purchased gifts by HR (any location) by Friday, December 9th, or a last drop-off point will be the Holiday Event in Cartersville on Saturday, December 10th.
We hope this program makes the holidays a little easier for our employees, in a moment of need, and much brighter for the children receiving the special gifts we provide for them.
