GHC playing in their second in as many days got off to a 30-5 run to open the game and never looked back with a 109-60 win over Middle Georgia Prep. The Chargers held the Lions to a 20 point cushion most of the game leading 57-30 at the half. GHC lead the way in the paint, out rebounding the Lions 55-19. “We had a great team effort today , we had another balanced scoring attack, I am very proud of our overall team performance,” said Charger head coach Phil Gaffney.
GHC had 7 players in double digits with Antiono Wade and Ty’Lik Evans leading the way with 15 points each, Donovan Ham with 14 points, Ty Cockfiled with 12 , Ricco Bonds and Kamar McKnight with 11 points each, and Tre Maloney with 10 points.
The Chargers go to 8-0 on the season. GHC returns to action at home on Tuesday, tip off 7:30pm
