Accessibility by Design Training in Marietta

Just a quick reminder that there will be an Accessibility by Design Introduction Training class Friday, September 30, on the Marietta Instructional Site. The Accessibility by Design training focuses on how to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. in a way that meets the guidelines established by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

The session will:

  • Define accessibility as it relates to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Address frequently asked questions regarding the creation of accessible content
  • Provide introductory hands-on instruction of accessibility guidelines in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Adobe PDFs.

The session will be held in Room G-106 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
