Georgia Highlands College will be participating in a National Walk Day event on April 6 to kickoff the Spring 2016 Well-being Challenge.
GHC will be competing with 6 other colleges:
Atlanta Metropolitan State College
Georgia Gwinnett College
Georgia Southwestern State University
Savannah State University
University System Office
All of the GHC campuses will be involved and will conduct a 30-mintue walk beginning at 3PM on April 6.
The leaders for each campus are:

Here’s what you can do to take part in the April 6th event:
- Show your support, WEAR YOUR SNEAKERS AND GHC ATTIRE ON APRIL 6TH AND JOIN OUR WALKS AT 3:00 P.M.
- Enjoy heart-healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, lean meat and whole grains.
- Join our all-staff rally at your location and pledge to live a healthier lifestyle!
- Since you’ll be wearing your sneakers, we challenge you to take your first of many 30-minute daily walks on April 6th. Follow our designated Walking Path or another route to start a habit of daily walking at work.
