PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Streamlining the process as we look forward to the upcoming transition to the oneusg initiative:

Because we have had challenges with the Performance Progression System (caused by not adhering to the sequencing of dates upon which the system was built: annual goal setting, mid-year and year-end review dates), we are going to use an electronic form from now until we transition to the online performance management module through oneusg. As we built this form, we had good input from staff members, administrators and faculty on the content. We hope that it works well for you during this interim time period.

You will have, by now, discussed goals with your manager, and should have defined three to six annual goals and two (or more) professional development goals. Send these goals to your manager via e-mail, or in a Word document.

By early February 2016, your manager will perform mid-year reviews with you, then complete the review process in July/August of 2016 with a year-end review. If you would like to make comments in response to the discussions you have with your manager during the review process, you may do so by providing a Word document to be attached to the paper copy of the review that will be sent to Human Resources by your manager.
