Good Afternoon GHC!

Due to the upcoming holidays, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you all, if you are not signed up for direct deposit to encourage you all to do so as soon as you can!

Why? With the upcoming holidays, mail times are typically slower due to volume, time off, and even possible weather delays.

I want each of you to be able to enjoy all time off and still be on schedule with your paychecks being deposited.

Here is an overview of the payrolls that could potentially be delayed due to mail delivery:

Biweekly:
Nov. 13th payroll — Veterans Day Nov. 11th—NOT A HOLIDAY FOR GHC
Nov. 27th payroll — Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26th
Dec. 24th payroll — Christmas Day Dec. 25th—NOTE: This payroll will be dated Thursday, Dec. 24th *

*many financial institutions close early on Dec. 24th—if mail is delayed, you may be Monday, 12/28 before funds are available to you

Monthly:
Nov. 30th payroll – Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26th
Dec. 31st payroll — ALL FACULTY AND STAFF WILL BE PAID ON DEC. 31st*

*many financial institutions close early on Dec. 31st—if mail is delayed, you may be Monday, 01/04/2016 before funds are available to you

Please contact us if you are ready to take advantage of the convenience and security that direct deposit offers. The direct deposit form is located at http://www.highlands.edu/site/payroll-employee-resource under the “Forms” heading and is titled “Direct Deposit”. Just complete the form and attach a voided check to the form, and the payroll team will be glad to help you complete the form if necessary.
