Join us on either April 17th (Cartersville) or April 10, 2015 (Rome) at 9 AM to learn about using social media effectively both personally and professionally. This workshop is for both the frequent social media user and the person that is just curious about jumping into social media.
The workshop will begin with a review of the GHC social media policies and guidelines and how to set up official GHC social media pages that help market specific divisions, initiatives, clubs, etc. Then, Kinsey Terry from the UGA Small Business Development will lead us in a discussion on the ins and outs of social media.
Social Media is constantly changing so we hope this workshop will bring you up to speed on the two most widely used platforms, Facebook and Twitter. Kinsey will focus on social media best practices, sharing and its benefits, different types of posts and tweets, and more.
Whether you already have social media accounts or want to start using them, this workshop will help educate you on how to get the most out of your a Facebook and Twitter page.
