CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – The public is invited to the Georgia Highlands College baseball team’s 2nd annual First Pitch Dinner on Friday, 30th , at 6 pm at Georgia Highlands College Student Center .

The First Pitch Dinner is a part of an exciting weekend for Georgia Highlands College baseball, as the team prepares for their 2015 season.

The First Pitch Dinner brings alumni, Charger supporters, family, friends and the current team together to help raise money for Georgia Highlands baseball program and gain excitement for the 2015 season that begins on Friday, February 6th.

“The First Pitch Dinner will be a great way to kick off our 2015 baseball season,” Charger head coach Mike Marra said. “It is a great opportunity for all baseball fans in the area to meet our 2015 team. The First Pitch Dinner will start a tradition of honoring the past and inspiring the future of Charger Baseball that will help create a unified and solid fan base with this baseball reunion.”

Seating is very limited. Dinner tickets can be purchased for $50 per person, which includes dinner, by contacting Coach Mike Marra at mmarra@highlands.edu or (678)-872-8142. Table sponsorships are also available.

The Chargers will scrimmage at Shorter University on Saturday, January 31, 2015 beginning at 12 Noon.
