Jack Smith, of The Smith Group, will be conducting grant writing workshops at Georgia Highlands College on Friday, May 2nd and Friday, June 6th on the Cartersville campus. Jack is one of the most experienced and successful grant writing trainers in the US and has conducted similar trainings on a reoccurring basis for institutions like Georgia State, Duke University, University of Georgia, Emory, Georgia Tech and University of New England.

The first day will be Grant Writing Overview and the second day will be Grant Management. We expect classes to be about 6 hours in length. Lunch will be on your own.

We expect the cost to be around $100 a day, but ultimately it will depend on the number of people who enroll. You will need your manager’s approval to enroll. This is a wonderful opportunity for GHC! To enroll email landd@highlands.edu by March 31, 2014.
