It is nearly time for the Hope for Hague 5K Run/Walk. The Hope for Hague 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014. For those that are not familiar with Hope for Hague, here is a little bit of background.
Dr. Nancy Hague, an Associate Professor of Psychology at Georgia Highlands College, passed away from ovarian cancer in February 2012. She was a dedicated friend, colleague, professor, daughter, and sister. To honor her memory and dedication to her students, two of her colleagues have established the Dr. Nancy Hague Memorial Scholarship at Georgia Highlands College. The Hope for Hague 5K Run/Walk has been established as a fundraiser for the scholarship.
The Hope for Hague 5K Run/Walk will take place around Paris Lake on the Floyd Campus of Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia. The course is primarily flat and is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities.
