Special Topics Courses

GHXX 2901: Special Topics In... courses are two-credit hour courses that satisfy Area B requirements. They provide first-year students an opportunity to explore topics related to a certain focus area. Special Topics courses are currently offered in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Math divisions. It is recommended that students take one of these courses within their first 30-credit hours at GHC. All Special Topics courses have a first year experience overlay consisting of information literacy, critical thinking, and integrative learning (all apart of LEAP value rubric).
