Georgia Highlands College (GHC) has been named the top college in the University System of Georgia for flexible, low-cost online degrees and ranked second overall among all colleges in the state—including private colleges and technical schools—by University Magazine.
In its recent report on the “Best Online Colleges in Georgia,” University Magazine highlighted GHC’s affordability, quality, and student-centered approach to online education.

According to a new University System of Georgia Selig Center for Economic Growth report:
- GHC’s Total Regional Economic Impact is $167.4 million dollars
- GHC was responsible for adding 1,379 jobs to local communities
