ROME, GA — Georgia Highlands College (GHC) is bringing star power and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to Northwest Georgia this fall with the annual GHC Scholarship Gala, headlined by Atlanta Braves legend Sid Bream and a massive online silent auction valued at over $60,000.
Bidding is now live online at givebutter.com/c/8gcviA/auction and features an extraordinary lineup of exclusive autographed sports memorabilia from legends across multiple sports, including:

The gala will be held on September 18, 2025, at The Forum River Center in downtown Rome, where guests will hear Sid Bream reflect on his storied baseball career and the life-changing impact of giving back. Bream is celebrated for his unforgettable slide into home plate during the 1992 National League Championship Series—a moment Sports Illustrated crowned the “Most Electrifying Moment in Atlanta Braves History.”
All proceeds from the gala and auction directly support student scholarships at Georgia Highlands College, helping to transform lives and strengthen communities across Northwest Georgia by expanding access to higher education.
