In partnership with the Kingston Women’s History Club, Georgia Highlands College will host baseball historian, Ted Knorr. Ted will give a presentation titled, Rap’s Rap: Life and Times of Herbert Alphonso “Rap” Dixon. Rap Dixon embarked on his career as a standout right fielder in the Negro League at the age of 14. He is a Major League Baseball Hall of Fame candidate and a native of Kingston, Ga.
