2022 COMMENCEMENT: FLOYD CAMPUS PARKING FOR FACULTY & STAFF

All Floyd Campus faculty and staff are asked to park at Lakeview Building/RESA to accommodate graduates and guests (re: 05/11/22 email from Brad Gilmore).

Faculty attending for RSVP’d event should enter the Floyd Campus grounds located at 3175 Cedartown Hwy, Rome, from the southern entrance near Physical Plant off Booze Mountain Road (see Commencement Diagram). Faculty Parking is indicated on either side of the Gym/PE building and is closest to the southern annex and Gym locker areas for faculty robing and assembly.

IMPORTANT DETAILS: 

  1. Please print the parking pass from your May 3rd email to display on your vehicle dashboard or have it downloaded to your phone or mobile device for ready access. This will allow officers to easily identify and direct you upon arrival.
  2. Arrive on campus 30 minutes prior to your RSVP’d event time, and prepare to be robed and assembled at the Gym locker area (southern annex) for processional by 15 minutes prior to event time. Light refreshments will be provided in the gym corridor.
  3. Mace Bearer Lisa Jellum will lead the faculty marshals (Susan Claxton, 10am; Debbie Amason, 2pm; and Frank Minor, 6pm) and processional from the PE/Gym southern annex at 5 minutes prior to event time (see Commencement Diagram).
