GHC Academic Showcase

Are you particularly proud of a project you completed this year? Want to share it with your colleagues? Have you worked with students who did an exceptional job and wish we had a forum for them to share? Your work deserves to be shared!

We will host the first annual GHC Academic Showcase on Tuesday, May 10th from 9am-1pm at our Cartersville Instructional Site. This is the day when GHC students, faculty, and staff will come together to showcase their best work. We all do amazing things throughout the year. I hope you will encourage students to submit their work, as well as some of your own. Projects can be submitted as posters, short presentations, or exhibits. Exhibits can include artwork, music, or just about anything else that doesn’t fit nicely into the other categories. Best of all, student submissions can win $250 for first place and $100 for second place … in each submission track! All presenters will receive a free t-shirt.

If you don’t know how to create a poster or need help turning a project into a submission, don’t worry. Just reach out to us at AcademicShowcase@highlands.edu and we’ll help you. The library faculty are also able to come into classes and teach students how to create a poster. Posters will be printed at no cost to you!

Proposals can be submitted here.
