GHC Wins the first East-West Innovation Bowl competition against Sierra Nevada University

Congratulations to GHC students – Erica Wittenbrook, Brea Wells, Lance Philp, Tommy Sullivan, and Tynasia Bunting who put their innovative ideas to the test facing off against excellent competition from Cali Carlson and Mateo de las Heras at Sierra Nevada University.  Our students made presentations in front of business executives and faculty from both schools who judged their ideas.  They represented GHC well and showed a caring and supportive attitude that was beautiful to see.

SNU participant Mateo de las Heras also received a trophy for best individual score.

A special thanks to Pat Manna who brought this idea to GHC and who made the needed connections for us.  Huge gratitude also goes to Lucinda Montgomery, Assistant Professor and subject matter expert for our Logistics and Supply Chain program who did the behind the scenes work to make this event a success for both GHC and Sierra Nevada.  Her running of the event on Friday evening was flawless.

Please tune into the Charger Innovation Challenge on 4/21 from Noon to 3pm to see 5 new GHC teams share their innovative ideas and compete against each other.   Be on the look-out for announcements.

Charge on!!
