Please join GHC Natural Science students for a Virtual Poster Session on Wed. Apr 29 from 2:30 to 3:30. These students were all set to present at national conferences this Spring but their conferences were cancelled. We want to support their hard work and celebrate their accomplishments as the semester ends.
- Muhammad Hanzala will discuss methods he developed to reduce the cost of fragrance extraction from bath bombs and soap.
- Iris Holmes will discuss her investigation of the influence of volatile organic compounds on the foraging behavior of the parasitic plant, Cuscuta harperi.
- Joseph Cheriyampurathu, Damon Self, Tyler Whelchel, and Ansley Roden will present their work in identifying PAH compounds on the Floyd Campus and the potential ban on the use of these chemicals.
