TAP Update – Electronic Signatures/E-mail Approval

Given the precautions USG has taken to allow employees to work remotely in an effort to keep faculty and staff healthy, the requirements for the Summer TAP applications has changed. The normal TAP procedure is to collect hard copies of physically signed TAP applications by both the participant and supervisor. To alleviate challenges of obtaining physical signatures, USG has decided to allow electronic signatures and/or email approval acknowledgement from supervisors to replace physical signatures for the April 15, 2020, application deadline for both the 2020 Maymester and Summer sessions. 

The TAP application has been updated on the USG TAP website, which includes the option for electronic participant and supervisor signatures.
