The annual 6AAAA Literary Meet is again being hosted by GHC on the Floyd campus and is scheduled for this Friday, Feb. 28, 2020.
We are expecting 150+ participants, volunteers, parents and guests to begin arriving at 8:00am.
The schools participating are:
- Southeast Whitfield
- Northeast Whitfield
- Heritage
- Ridgeland
- LaFayette
- Gilmer
- Pickens
The Literary events will begin at 9:00, and the last event is scheduled at 12:00. GHC staff, faculty, and students will be serving as volunteers.
The awards/ closing ceremony will begin at 1:15, and the Student Common area will be the main information area. The participating 6AAAA schools and volunteers will use the Lakeview Auditorium for their arrival and departure.
The events will be held in the Lakeview, Walraven and McCorkle (Pullen Annex) buildings. The Charger Café and bookstore will be open for visitors.
This is a great opportunity for GHC to present itself to these high school students as they visit our campus this Friday.
