Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be Jewish and living in Europe during the Holocaust with little to no hope?

My grandfather, Stefan Ryniewicz, was able to help Heinz Lichtenstern, a Jewish metals industry executive, survive in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam through a falsified foreign passport.

Come hear the amazing story of how a small group of people put their lives on the line and were able to save numerous Jews from concentration camps during World War II.

K. Heidi Fishman, granddaughter of Heinz Lichtenstern, and Professor Alexandra MacMurdo Reiter, granddaughter of Stefan Ryniewicz, will share how the Bernese Group operated this clandestine passport scheme.
