Movie Screening at Heritage Hall

Join us Thursday, Feb. 21, at Center Stage in Heritage Hall for a public screening of To Kingdom Come, a documentary film about the toxic legacy of the former GE plant in Rome. The film follows the citizen investigation of environment concerns, and features our own Billy Morris (Geology), Jessica Lindberg (English), former students, and music by Russell Cook (art).  Directed by Brian Campbell (Biology, Berry), the film was named the Rome International Film Festival 2019 Audience Award winner.

This showing is co-sponsored by CRBI, Georgia Highlands, and the Berry College Environmental Studies program. Please consider sending your students as well. It’s a great lesson on the importance and influence of citizen involvement in local (and global) issues.
