This is a reminder that we have five Charger Orientations taking place this month for our new freshmen and transfer students. Dozens of potential new students will be on campus and get their first taste of GHC. We encourage you to show your Charger pride by wearing orange and blue on these days.
- Friday, June 8 – Cartersville, 9 am
- Friday, June 15 – Marietta, 9 am
- Wednesday, June 20 – Floyd, 9am
- Friday, June 22 – Paulding, 9 am
- Tuesday, June 26 – Cartersville, 9 am
At Charger Orientation, students will:
- Be welcomed by their Campus Dean
- Attend an Academic Success Session delivering the Top 10 Things To Know To Be Successful At GHC
- Learn about GHC’s student life and the academic, cultural, and social activities and events offered on campus
- Be advised
- Register for classes
- Attend a Financing College Session that will explain financial aid and business office procedures, as well as touch on introductory concepts of financial literacy
- Receive their parking pass and Charger ID
- Socialize with peers
- Receive GHC swag
- Have fun while becoming familiar with the GHC community!
