Graduation – 1:00 p.m.
The Forum River Center, Rome, GA
- NURSES PINNING: Friday, May 12th, 6:00 p.m., Tabernacle Baptist Church, Cartersville.
- FACULTY ROBING: Faculty should plan to arrive 12:30 p.m. at the Forum. Robing will be Upper Level in the Berry & Shorter meeting rooms.
- The 3rd Avenue Deck has been reserved for GHC parking, however space will remain very limited. Early arrival is encouraged for this free parking to GHC employees, graduates, and guests. Additional parking in Downtown Rome is located at the 4th and 6th Avenue parking decks and across the Oostanaula River on West 3rd Street with Forum access via Pedestrian Bridge. (Note: Carting service is no longer provided by the facility.)
- ATTENDANCE: Full-time faculty are required to attend for the marching line in regalia; part-time faculty and staff with faculty assignments are welcomed to join the marching line in regalia (re: Renva Watterson’s email to faculty dated 03/07/17).
- WESLEY C. WALRAVEN FACULTY AWARD: Congratulations to Prof. Brent Griffin (re: Renva Watterson’s email dated 04/11/17).
- MACE BEARER: Honors accepted by Professor Laura Ralston (re: Lillian Robertson’s email to faculty dated 04/10/17).
- GRADUATES: Commencement RSVP to highlands.edu/rsvp . - CALENDARS: The date and time for Pinning and Graduation are posted on the employee and student web calendars.
- GRADUATES: Caps and gowns have arrived and are ready for pickup from GHC Bookstore (Floyd and Cartersville).
