Get Ready, Get Set…

HEALTHTRAILS REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1ST

The challenged has stepped up this spring: GHC will compete against all of USG!

Don’t miss your chance to have fun and learn – while improving mood, stress, and energy level. Online registration begins March 1st — join team members on your campus for a HealthTrails Challenge Kickoff Walk!

The Challenge begins on March 20th. See Farrah’s content announcing the registration below and watch for the link to register in your email coming soon…

Join the University System of Georgia (USG) Well-being program this spring for a six week HealthTrails Challenge against all USG institutions. All benefit eligible employees are able to compete in the challenge that offers a fun way to log steps, water consumption, and kindness. The winning institution will be treated to lunch and presented with the USG Well-being traveling trophy.

What could be more fun than tracking health improvement on interactive trails from all over the world? Whether it’s Cambrian Way in Wales, Pacific Northwest Trail in Montana/ Idaho/Washington, Snowman Trek in Bhutan, or any of the other fascinating international trails, you’ll be inspired to keep moving toward better health. And you’ll be rewarded with exciting images and descriptions of each area’s people, places, and history.

To make it even more fun you can use Fitbit or Jawbone to track your daily steps. Sync it with your HealthTrails account or the app, and it automatically loads to your tracker. A Fitbit subsidy ($44) is available for the first 5,000 employees who do not currently own a tracking device and haven’t previously received a USG Fitbit subsidy. The Fitbit subsidy eligible employees will receive an email on the Monday following their registration.

Let’s GO!!!
