School Supplies Needed for Food Pantry

If you recall, last year we participated in a school supply drive to help local school children have the supplies they needed to be successful in their classes. This year, the Academic Success Center, in partnership with Student Support Services, is holding a school supply drive to help our own GHC students. Since Student Support Services already has a means by which to reach students in need through the food pantry, we plan to make the school supplies available to students through the same platform. In addition to school supplies, students are also in need of toiletry items. 

School supplies, toiletry, or food donations can be dropped off at any of the food pantry locations across our campuses:

  • Cartersville: HUB
  • Douglasville: Student Center
  • Floyd: Game Room near Student Life or SSS Office
  • Marietta: Front Desk Reception
  • Paulding: FrontDesk Reception
  • You can also leave supplies with any of our Tutorial Centers or advisors. 

Suggestions for donations:

  • Pens, paper, notebooks, 3-ring binders, dividers, highlighters
  • Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap
  • Food suggestions are attached.
